This was a contemporary and post modern genre of photography showing a more fun and abstract twist to my work.

This was influenced by the work or Richard Avedon in his project 'American West'. It resembles a young teen wearing a balaclava. By just adding this accessory and the model having his top off portrays this confident, masculine gang member. However, the model is a completely different kind of character. This shows how a picture can portray an individual and manipulate the viewers assumptions.

This image was influenced by Rankin's picture of Tony Blair. I wanted the viewer to assume the model was a powerful figure by the way he is dressed, the United Kingdom flag and choosing a high key lighting. This is a familiar technique in shooting politicians.
